Ok, not finding how to load the video:(  But here's a picture!

LOVE IT!

Where do the days go?  This month is flying by.  I thought with being so immobile that it would drag, but nope, it's not!
I can walk now, with or with out my air-cast, but my ankle gets really rebellious if I insist on walking without the cast.  So I wear the darn thing.
We are kind of in full swing of school, well most days.  We are wrapping up the last week of Year 1, Unit 4, TOG.   We are so excited to start Year 2, well maybe I'M excited the most.  I love new curriculum, new books.  LOVE IT.
In not so fun news I gained 5lbs sitting around here elevating my foot:(   I can't do my Wii Fit, to risky to reinjure my ankle yet.  So the only thing I can do is adjust my food, and I did.  It wasn't easy, I hate disipline, I like to do what I want;)
I haven't put any sugar in my coffee or cream.  I only have 1-2 pieces of weight watchers bread a day if any.   I drink 2 1/2 litres of water a day.  I have 5-6 small meals of protein and carbs a day.  So like 1/2 chicken breast in whole wheat tortilla with 2 slices of tomatoe and 2 slices of avocado.    Or chicken salad, and I measure my dressing to make sure I keep it under a tbsp.  I also found some lean turkey sauage rounds that make nice sausage and egger sandwiches!  And boiled eggs are not the yummiest snack, but they are ok.
It's paid off.  I've officially lost 6lbs as of today!  I seem to be loosing about 1/2 lb a day.  I'm sure most of it is water though.
I'm trying to come up with ball excercise ideas, ones that won't hurt my ankle.
Josh is busy stalking airline sites to buy tickets for a good deal.  We are flying to Hawaii with friends in February.  Hoping my ankle is going to be all good for then!!

Bringing in the New Year With a Bang!

Well I did bring in the new year,  on crutches!

A few days before the new year I slipped off the two bottom steps and sprained my ankle.  My first sprained ankle!  Man that was pain like I never imagined.  After crutches for a week I am now in an air cast and walking, well more like hobbling, but I'm on two feet again.  Who knew crutches were so hard!!

Anyway it's been a busy holiday season, and I am glad for some down time.  Just not how I would have planned it.

Happy New Year!  Hope 2010 is going to be great for everyone!
I need to get some lessons planned and get these kids back to school.
Having a bummed ankle makes me very unmotivated.  I'm hoping for quick healing so that life can get back to normal:)

Please excuse the messy background!  Oh and the fact I haven't done my hair or make-up!
I should have taken a picture of the bruise!  It looked terrible.

Multitudes of Angels

Well as you can see, since I haven't been here in a long time, we are busy, busy, busy.  With what you might wonder, oh the last school things, the cleaning, the shopping, the spending time with Dad in our own private Christmas celebrations.  But in a few moments the relatives will arrive and thus the large family festivites shall begin.
If you don't see me for awhile don't worry, you can find me in my kitchen cooking for the multitudes of angels that shall grace our home this holiday.
Oh and my Hunny loves me!  He just brought me puzzles:)  I will crack them open maybe after Christmas.  If I can make myself wait that long!
Love you to all and a very wonderful Christmas Holiday.  I pray you remember the reason for all this celebration, and as we do everyday thank God for His love and grace.

Dying, He saved me

Buried, He carried my sins far away

Rising, He justified freely forever

One day He’s coming

One of those Days

Ever have one of those days where you have to get "everything" done, but you feel like doing nothing??  That's me today!  I have to get this house in order and looking half decent, my parents arrive tomorrow.  I'm looking forward to my visit with them.  We haven't seen them since summer!  Well actually my Mom was here in Sept.  I'm excited for them to see how much Madalyn has grown.  They can listen to Natalie play the fiddle, she's doing really great!  Bevan can show them all his new tricks on the drum and Bradon can play "Scot's La Hay" on the chanter!  Ashley has been playing the recorder with Daddy so she can show them what she knows too;)
But before they get here we have bathrooms to clean, drywall dust to mop up, floors to sweep, clutter to put away, laundry to fold, sheets to wash!  Better get my butt in gear!  I am thankful that my kids are old enough to help, they do pretty good.

Phew that's better!

I really loved the 3 wise men, but the colour back ground was killing my eyes!! Sorry I lost my stars Darci girl, but I couldn't handle that blue anymore!  I wish I could find a different colour one.  Oh well this one is nice and calm:)
