Incase you were wondering

I haven't posted in a few days.  It's because everytime I see my blog come up I see that picture of my Dad.  It's great to see him.  I'll post soon don't worry:)

Changes

    Not serious changes, just bloggy ones.  I loved my palm tree background and my Waikiki Beach sunset photo by Josh.  Today I received a message from "Cutest little blog" where I got my background from, saying that as of tomorrow my palm trees would be no more.  So sad. 
  So I checked out Bloggers new design stuff.  I really, really wanted to use my Waikiki Beach sunset as my background, but I couldn't see any options for doing so.   I picked a background of a beach, kind of at sunset or sunrise, I'm not sure.   And my other favorite picture, of my gorgeous kids!  Sorry if that not good edicate but I really do think they are gorgeous so I'm just tellin' ya!

100th Post!!

  This is my 100th post!   I was thinking it should be something great.  I've been sitting on it for a week, maybe longer and I just can't think of anything.
   I thought I could tell you all of my birth stories, wouldn't that be fun? :)
   Or rant about the oil spill in the Gulf, like everyone else.
   Maybe I could tell you all the things I love and that inspire me, that might be to long.
  I could write out my parenting philosophy for you.  I could share my struggles and victories.  There are so many great things to choose from.
   Like how I taught my kids to read.  When is the best time to start math?  Things of that sort.
 
  The most important thing in my life is Jesus.  Because of His sacrifice I can know and be known by God.  Because of Him I can come to the throne of my Heavenly Father I can have His Grace, His Peace, His Love.  Because of those things I can live this life that is full of blessings, pain, laughter, love, toil and trouble.  Because I can, because of Him, I am and I will be.  He was, He is and always He forgives, He lives.  
I would not want to walk through this wilderness without Him holding my hand:)
I think that I said it all right there.

Blog Pseudonyms

    I like Blog Pseudonyms.  They seem to be really popular with some bloggers.  Like Mckmama, she has the whole McDonald's menu going on.  And  The Common Room, I think she has named everyone by their interest or character.  Who else, my brain stopped!  Oh ya the Pioneer Woman!  I love the one she has for her husband.

   It makes me want to do that too!  But I guess that would be pointless since I never started with them, and everyone now knows our real names! 

   If I did though, I'd use Hawaiian names.  Josh would be Kahuna, Bradon would be Shaka ("hang loose" in Hawaiian).  Bevan is Mauka (mountain).  Natalie, Hula.  Ashley Nalu (surf).  And Madalyn is Aukai (little swimmer).
   Now what would I be....hmmm.  I think I'd like to be Aloha. 
     Maybe I will start using Pseudonyms if I find some that I like, and that suit us. 
    Let's see how many Hawaiian islands there are, maybe we'll each be an island?!
   Island names going biggest to smallest, The Big Island, Maui, Oahu, Kaui, Molokai, Lanai, Kahoolawe.  Hey that works!  Ok, there you go we have our Pseudonyms.

Phew that's better!

I really loved the 3 wise men, but the colour back ground was killing my eyes!! Sorry I lost my stars Darci girl, but I couldn't handle that blue anymore!  I wish I could find a different colour one.  Oh well this one is nice and calm:)

New Name...Maybe

So I've been thinking. Life with Lollie is an ok name. It's about what life is like with me and what I think of life.


But today I was thinking Why not something to do with the number 7, since there are 7 of use.


I could call it The Davis Septet. Which is 7 musicians. Or Davis Hebdomad (that's 7 things).

I've been inspired by other bloggers to get better at this. It might be more fun if I came up with a more inspired name. Also I really gotta change the look of this blog. So I might do some research and see what I can do.
